Q: what would be the estimated annual maintenance for the following cars?
2008 Chevrolet Corvette 2006 Ford Mustang GT 2003 BMW Z4

A: depends how much you drive and if you are willing to do oil changes yourself. BMW charges more per hour for service at the dealer because they are luxury cars and the parts cost more as well. Ford has cheap parts because there are so many mustangs around and labor while still expensive is cheaper than BMW. Corvette is the only one i have experience with. we have owned a corvette for 10 years now and it has been very inexpensive to maintain. The water pump did go out and that was about $400 if i remember right and we replaced it ourselves. oil needs to be changed with mobil 1 about once a year(twice if you drive a ton).

Q: If you had $35,000 to spend on a brand new car?
Im going into the United States Marines Corps. I have $5,000 save up, my dad save me $10,0000 and I have a signing bonus of $10,000(before taxes thought).. i really want a sports car and i wouldnt have to pay for much besides You have to love Military BENIFITS... I'm really thinking about the 2011 Ford Mustang V8GT or a 2003-2008 Chevrolet Corvette; how much do you think I will be paying for car insurance with a sports card... please serious answers.. thanks SEMPER FI

A: First off, Thank your for serving. My father was in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Second, insurance on a Sports car with a V8 if you are under 25 is Insane! Before I turned 25, insurance on my V8 small truck was $145 a Month, so figure at least $40 more per month for a car with a V8 and 2 doors. The 2011 Mustang would be my choice, but I'm preferable for Fords. It will have over 400hp and still have a warranty. Most Corvettes will be beat up after a few years and their reliability is not the greatest in the first place. *** You could always look for a older SRT 10 Viper, but Insurance will chew you up and spit you out. *** Mustang, Challenger, Camaro. All perfectly fine Muscle Cars for the modern generation, with full factory warranty and more smiles per mile then any Sedan. I do have a Mustang, an 04 Convertible V6 that is used as my daily driver as it gets better mileage then my V8 truck, and for cruising around with the top down and the sunglasses on. Truck is the heavy duty workhorse, the Mustang is the Cruiser, and the Bike is the Bad Boy gonna get me in trouble vehicle in the family. Semper Fi Soldier - Be safe.

Q: Do you think it’s a good idea to import cars from the states for business in ksa ?
So I have been searching around eBay and craigslist and found that due to the American recession many people are letting go of their cars at a cheap bargain price due to the high gas prices and unpaid payments. I actually found a lot cheap cars of course with high mileage but it doesn’t really matter and the gas down here is so cheap so it's no big deal. I found a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette 3LT PKG! for 15,000 $ thats like WOW .

A: it's a well-known business in SA .. Look around and u'll Find "alKifah, alBayan alJadeed, alMotor .... etc" they're importin' from the states especially from that satates which are similar or close to saudi weather .. take a look over the prices in here and there .. collect some info about the shipments fee .. and Go On. SA is a wonderful place to invest in .. For smart ppl :)

Q: What are the prices (MSRP) for the Corvette ZR1 and Viper ACR?
I'm trying to find the MSRP for both the Chevrolet Covette ZR1 and the Dodge Viper ACR. Preferably for same year models and with sources from a good website. Which one is cheaper? I heard the Viper ACR is about $98k while the Corvette ZR1 is about $103k. But I think that's for the 2008 ACR and the 2009 ZR1. Well, thanks.

A: check edmunds.com

Q: Am I the only one who thinks the new Porsche Panamera has the EXACT SAME front end of a corvette?
Vette- http://www.gotbroken.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/2005-chevrolet-corvette-c6-coupe-front-side-view.jpg Porsche- http://www.iwebie.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/porsche_panamera_front.jpg they just look similar to me.. hey yonnafun, you've been reported, thanks. I specifically said the front end, but the fact you're so blatant means you're prob a troll. Have a good one

A: They look similar.

Q: What is your favourite car and why?
I want to know what cars you like the most and what there good for/at looks, speed, drifting, handling and so on. My favourites so far are the Chevrolet concept, corvette,1967 shelby GT500 and the 2008 version.

A: Hello My favourite I have had is a 1966 Mark 1 Triumph Spitfire 1245cc Stage 3 Engine. Or was it 1145cc It looked sporty but had a stupid rear seat (2+2) but a car that small doesn't require a 5 Litre engine like the new sports cars. I had a removable Hard Top and a Soft top for the summer. This was back when TR7's had just come out but I wiped the floor with them up to 70 then they had the advantage once they caught me. All I want today is a proper 2 seat sport with proper seats and a soft top for the summer. But it does not have to be more than a 1.3 or 1.4 Litre (Both would take it up to the Ton). I travel 3 1/4 hours every Christmas to go to my parents then 3 1/4 hours back home home again a few days later, I swim 3 times a week and do my own shopping but can only do so at the moment because I drive a 1997 Vauxhall Vectra 2.0 Litre Automatic. At the moment this is the best car for me to drive as it allows me to keep on the road, So does that make it my current favourite? Andy C

Q: Which kind of car should I buy?? (choices listed)?
Which kind of car should I buy?? (choices listed)?Alritey guys. I need a new car and I've got it down to a few different kinds. Let me know which one YOU think I should get, and why? I know they are depedent upon taste, but to be honest I really like all of them. Plz give positive feedback, and thanks in advance! Do not consider cost of car or insurance costs...simply what car you would pick to have, and why you would pick that one. 1st choice - 1998-2000 Chevrolet Corvette 2nd choice - 2003-2005 Nissan 350Z 3rd choice - 2005-2008 Chysler 300 (would purchase only with 22 inch rims) 4th choice- 2005-2008 Dodge Charger (would purchase only with 22 inch rims) 5th choice - 2003-2005 Infiniti G35 (Coupe only) 6th choice - 1998-2002 Pontiac Trans Am (WS6 ONLY - Ram Air)

A: wow some good choices out there lets do a break down 1st choice - corvette... good performance car, fast, and very nice looking car. def top of line if looking for speed and head turning. 2nd choice- nissan 350z... nice looking tuner car, not particularly special but not a bad smaller car. 3rd choice- chrysler 300... nice looking 4 door sedan. not fast (unless you get the SRT-8 package) handles decent. getting pretty common though. 4th choice- charger..... looks like a muscle car but doesnt really perform all that great for one. out of all the "pony" cars this new gen it is the worst performer of the group. 5th choice- G35.... nice looking, more upscale car than anything but the vette. car screams sucess and style. 6th choice- trans am...... not that impressive performance wise if it is stock, looks mean, but would def pick vette over this one any day. over all if you are looking for style. the g35 coupe is nice, followed by the vette, and the 350z if you are looking for speed the vette is nice, trans am, charger. if you want a nice combo CORVETTE is the winner in my mind. is good styleing turns heads and can get up and go.

Q: Why did cars go from beautiful to fugly in the 80's and 90's?

People really thought that looked good back then? Sorry here's the first Camaro link: http://files.turbosquid.com/Preview/Content_2009_07_15__10_08_55/72_Z28_01.jpg3328a00c-4e72-4362-a1a0-f524fbf8ed6dLarge.jpg John those cars actually look really good! Ok so there were a hand-full of gooding looking cars in the 80's and 90's but the majority didn't seem to cut it.

A: 80's cars are UGLY, cars from the 60's 70's and 90's look good...even some from 00's
