Q: Is it impossible to negotiate on a rare, brand new car?
The car I'm planning on purchasing this year is a 2007 Chevy Corvette. Where I live, they don't get very many of them, and there are very few private sellers willing to sell their own Vettes. My question is it next to impossible to negotiate on this brand new car? Keep in mind that if I buy this car, they have to build the car from scratch, which would take 2-3 weeks to complete. Because it's built from scratch and it's rare, I figured this would cause the car's MSRP to be "fixed." (MSRP is $68,000CDN) If it was used, I would be able to negotiate better because a car's cost varies depending on condition, mileage, mods, etc so I can state my suggested price more easily, but a brand new car is exactly the same as any brand new Vette, so the MSRP is rather rigid. So should I just give up trying to negotiate on a brand new car or are there any tips on doing so?

A: Forgot the 427 Cobra ? Make sure the Cuda has the Hemi or 440. Same with the Camaro and Torino, ( Some had hot engines, some did not). I thought the twin turbo 300zx was pretty muscular. Some Bentleys are pretty muscular (and pretty expensive.) (so i am told)

72 Chevelle 307 has new plugs and wires and still runs rough, timing is OK , 88, 000 miles - 77 Impala 305 idles and runs rough, spark is OK, 130,000 miles, is there a good hi perf 2 barrel carb? - 84 Corvette CFI , runs OK, idles fast ,1500 rpm, and check engine light comes on, 68,000 miles - 92 Camaro RS 305 TBI, lopes at idle,stalls when coming to a stop, 130,000 miles, sensors and EGR replaced

A: Sometimes the distributor cap can be bad. This is sort of common on Chevy small blocks.
