Q: Warranty on used 2008 Aspen Chrysler?
I bought a used 2008 chrysler aspen. The only thing is that it was an as is bought vehicle. We bought it because the price could not be beat. What I want to know is, is the vehicle still covered under any warranties since it has more than 36000 miles? Can I get a warranty that covers the vehicle bu,per to bumper?
A: Something not right with your Aspen.
IF it were still under factory warranty then the buyers guide would have said so. But it did not say balance of factory warranty available, instead it said "no warranty, sold as is"
My guess is that it is a salvage title vehicle which is only worth 50-60% of a clean title vehicle. This would acount for your great deal.
Or it has a bunch of miles, way more than the 36,000 covered under warranty.
Too late now to do much about it but you could run a carfax and see if it shows anything.
I wish you luck.

Q: How to watch movies in 08 Chrysler Aspen on both screens while moving.?
How can you watch movies on the front LCD screen in a 2008 Chrysler Aspen, as in, Watch it on the rear overhead VES and the front LCD while moving?
A: it is a safety concern ,illegal in most states i don't believe you can turn it on.
Q: Should I accept my 2008 Aspen or send it back?
I bought a 2008 Chrysler Aspen in Arkansas but my dealership had to pick up the Aspen from another dealership in Texas. So they delivered the Aspen to my dealership today, it was all scratched up and has the wrong wheels. The dealership in Texas (which was one cut by Chrysler) swapped out the 20in chrome rims I payed $636 for and replaced them with 18in clad wheels. My dealership already fixed the scratches but what should I do about the rims? There is no way to get the correct rims on the SUV.
A: If it's not how you ordered it don't accept it.
Q: Is buying a vehicle that has ceased production smart? I like the Chrysler Aspen, but they stop making.?
I like the 2008 Chrysler Aspen a lot, but am worried about it down the line. From reports I have gathered, it is a well made vehicle, but Chrysler halted production on that and the Durango for 2010. It seems like a great vehicle for me, but will I need to worry about future parts for it if things go wrong? Im not worried about the quality of the vehicle, but rather any accidents down the line. Thanks for the info.
A: Because the Aspen shared a lot of parts with the Durango, all the parts that make it go will be readily available. The trim and some of the sheet metal will probably only be available from dealers. Dealers and Chrysler will carry those parts for the next 10 years at least, if not longer.
Q: Do you think buying a 2007 Chrysler Aspen for 14,899k is wise w/ 81k miles?
I am used car shopping this week with no such luck! I am very picky, I want an suv no older than 3 yrs that is spacious. I want luxury meets affordability. The only thing I have found that comes close is a 2007 Chrysler Aspen for $14,899.00 it's beautiful, I mean immaculate condition! That car history came back with one minor fender bender reported in 2008. The only drawback is that it has 81k miles on it! The Carfax report said it was titled as a rental car and that is where the miles came from. Another drawback is that this is a no-haggle price meaning non negotiable:( I haven't found much info on the make and model, but it has a great crash test rating but very crappy on gas...65.00$ U.S. to fill that bad boy up. Any suggestions or opinions on this car or other cars I might like would be great! I need to stay at about $17,000.00, plz help
A: That beast has twice the normal average mileage for the model year. While rental vehicles are touted as 'well and consistently maintained' it isn't always so. I wouldn't go for that deal unless they threw in a 7 year unlimited mileage warranty free of charge. Chrysler products have a very poor reliability rating to boot.
ADDED: While that price may sound like a steal the NADA Guides list it at $18K for a clean vehicle with that mileage. But 'clean' means a clean accident history. Since that one has an accident history it's NADA rating comes down to where they've priced it or a bit lower $13 to $14.5K. So what they're asking for it is top dollar when you consider the car's history. http://www.nadaguides.com
