Q: Does This Economic Theory Make Sense?
First, abolish the income tax. Put more money into people's pocket to spend. Second, replace this with a federal sales tax on all products except food, clothing, and shelter. Third, Adjust the sales tax depending on economy (if everyone doesn't spend and saves up their money to avoid a high sales tax, then the fed can decrease the tax to like 3%, to stimulate consumers to buy buy buy). Fourth, consumers buy, businesses profit, jobs are needed to keep up with the demand, more people have tax free paychecks, which encourages them to buy buy buy, government will see an increase of revenue from sales taxes for years. If you're a millionaire and are happy driving your 1991 F150, then that's fine. If you're a millionaire and you want to buy the 2010 Ford Mustang GT, then pay the sales tax) Taxes should be based on what you spend, not what you earn. Americans have a culture to spend money, the government needs to let people spend the money how they wish and the government will make the money depending on how people spend, and the government can regulate the sales tax to encourage growth where it's needed( i.e. housing market, small businesses, etc.) My Political Science teacher said that would never work. Is she right, or is this a good plan?

A: Good logical thinking. The government requires money for some of their activities like military, poor peoples security etc apart from paying the government peoples salary etc. So these are the areas the government requires money and they collect the same through Income tax, sales tax, land tax etc. Your idea can work if we can come out innovatively on the scheme to cater to all. Income tax is specifically target the higher income people. The logic is that they can afford to pay. But if we abolish and get the money through sales tax then the poor and the rich will have to pay the same tax for the same good. So in the long run the poor may be affected more than the rich. Your example of car is ok but what about the essentials like sugar, wheat etc.

Q: what do you think of my story?
CHAPTER 1 “Stephen Luke Hudinburg” the loud speaker blasted “They always get that wrong it is Hugh-duh-burgh is that so hard to say Hugh-duh-burgh gah” I thought as I went to go get my diploma. The whole class of ‘10 watched me, waiting for me to trip, fall or something. But I didn’t. I just walked across the stage of the auditorium got my diploma shook Mr. White’s old wrinkly hand as the memories of the last four years came rushing back to me. From the day I first asked out my girlfriend of 3.5 years. To all of our memories together, like spring break of our senior year and how I had planned on asking her to marry me but couldn’t get it out. The long late night talks on the phone solving problems. Remembering how just her touch or the gaze from her beautiful blue eyes could heal the deepest wounds. Next come all of the drama memories, family memories like how for my 17th birthday everyone pitched in and got me a 2007 Black Ford F150 duel cab truck that I always wanted. As I sat in my seat listing to all of my other classmates get called and then I heard my loves name through the loud speaker “Savannah Grace Scott” and I saw her get up and walk to the stage, take her diploma from Mr. White’s hand and simultaneously wink me. I knew long before this day that I would marry the girl that just got her diploma and that we would live happy lives together. “And that concludes our graduation ceremony. Drinks and refreshments are in the cafeteria and once again, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2010!” Mr. White said into the microphone. As if it had been pre-rehearsed we all removed our red caps, threw them in the air and watched them flutter down to the ground. “Congrats ya’ll” my mom said as Savannah and I walked to the back of the auditorium “Thanks mom” “Thanks Charesma” “Well babydoll we are officially out of high school and still in love” I told Savannah. “Yeah, yeah, yeah get a room” my step dad Rocky said. “You’re just mad because we proved you wrong” I said. “What are you talking about” he asked. “You said when we were freshmen that you didn’t think that a high school relationship could work out and look here” I said as I kissed my babydoll. “What time is it” I asked as we were walking down to the cafeteria. “2:30” came the answer from my sister Aubrie. “Thanks sis,” “You know I’m two years younger, you have been working for An med for three years, one more year then I have worked at Jacks auto shop and still I have got to be four, five. Maybe even six inches taller then you dang you short sis ha-ha” I joked “Boy shut up I’m still your elder” she shot back “Yeah your right, mom always says to respect your elders. I just can’t get over the fact that the only person taller than me is a 37 year old cop” I said, referring to Rocky. “Hey, where is Justin?” I asked “He had to work he says congrats b-t-w” Aubrie answered. As we walked into the cafeteria the memory came flooding back of when Savannah and I were just freshmen, we sat at the very back table and shared our first kiss. “You ok babe” Savannah asked “Ye-… yeah” I replied. “Ok baby” she said. “Follow me” I said to her. “We will be back, save us a seat” I told them. We walked over to that very back table and I sat where in the same spot as when we were freshman, looked at her huge smile and said “I love you baby.” “I love you too.” She replied. “Look at the LCD projector babydoll.” As she turned Rocky switched on the over head to reveal in big red letters: ♥SAVANNAH GRACE SCOTT WILL YOU MARRY ME? ♥ I got down on one knee and pulled out an engagement ring and she turned around and said… CHAPTER 2 “YES BABY YES!” Savannah replied. I let out a sigh of relief as I slid the ring onto her hand and got up and kissed those very same lips that I had kissed four years ago. ”Alright love birds time to eat” Aubrie said from across the room. So we walked over and I told Rocky thank you and I couldn’t have done that without him. “What time did you say it was” Mom asked. “Now it is 3:03” Aubrie replied “What time is our chiropractor appointment?” “3:30 we got to go” “You mean to tell me that you scheduled a chiropractor appointment on our graduation day babe” I asked “He said I had to come every other day this week and everyday next week” Savannah replied. “Ok I guess I will run while you three girls are at the chiropractor” I said. “Yeah and I’ll go home and play on the computer” Rocky added “Yeah Rock, say it like you don’t want to, he he” I joked. “Alright why don’t you three go in Aubrie’s Celica and then I’ll drive my truck back to our house then Rocky can drive the ranger to our house ok?” I asked “Alright” “Alright” “Alright” “Okie dokie” they all said. As I got into my F-150 my cell phone rang. “Hello.” Justin said “Hey man congrats” “Thanks man, sorry you had to work. What time you get off tonight” “11” “Ouch that sucks” “Yep. Well I’ll holla at cha later” “’iight man later”. Now for the joyous ride home I thought. As I pulled into my house my c

A: Are you a Junior, and going to graduate in 2010? It's pretty good at first. I don't know what the Southern twang is all about though. And what is with the proposal and then the chiropractor appointment? If it was a book, I wouldn't read it, no offense.

Q: What kind of truck should I buy?
I am looking at buying a brand new truck. I will be using it as my main mode of transportation and I'll probably be putting at least 30,000KM per year on it making the annual trip across Canada to see my folks. I'll be hauling my boat sometimes too, so I'll need a nice and powerful truck. I am single so I don't need any family oriented things. I love the Ford F150 but I'm always open to suggestions as this is my first vehicle. I am looking to get a 2010 or I might wait for the 2011 as I don't need the truck right this instant. ( I live on base so I don't go very far ) I would like to spend less than $35,000 before tax

A: As someone that's actually driven almost every truck on the market for thousands and thousands of miles, I just could not tell you want to buy. They're not all the same, they're different and not as simple to compare as many make it out to be. All trucks have their strengths and weaknesses. If you ask questions this way, you'll get too many fanboys giving you BS answers. The F150 is a very good choice, but there are many other great, underrated trucks out there. If you want to find what's right for you, you need to research them and you must compare them yourself.

Q: Need help with a Lease question on a Truck?
I got my very first truck on July 7, 2007 and it was a brand new F150 that cost 35,000 dollars but I got 5,000 dollars off of it so it only ended up being 30,000 dollars. At the time I could not afford to buy it from the Ford company so I leased it for 36 months and my lease will be up on July 6, 2010 and I would like to maybe buy it out from them at the end of the lease. Now I would have a buy out of 16,860 dollars and I was wondering do I have to buy it for that price or can I try to talk them and try to have them lower the price so I could maybe buy it from them for cheaper? If someone could please help me out with this would be great because if the answer is yes I can then take some time to think about how much I could try to get them to lower it for me.

A: Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool - carinsurance.yoll.net
