Q: How much does the 2010 Ford Mustang GT cost?
And what's the difference between the 2010 gt model and the 2008 gt model? I assume that the 2008 is cheaper because the model is older, but I want to know which one has a better engine, etc.. And if you know how much the 2008 model costs too, that would be helpful too.
A: Just wait till 2011 they will have a 400 hp soyote engine (85 more hp than 2005-2010) and order it offline. It is way cheaper to order the car from ford.com than buy it from a dealership. I made my own car on ford.com and it only cost like 28,000 for a new mustang gt compared to one that had les at a ford dealership and was 35,000. Plus if you order offline, you get the paint color you want, the interior color/options you want, and everything else you want for cheaper. :) i think Dealerships order them then charge extra to make a profit. But the 208 is different than the 2010 as far as body style goes. And a couple interior changes, other than that, i think the engines are the same

Do you think the automatic lacks anything? Any experiences?
A: If you are going to be lame and buy an automatic, get the V6.
The automatic lacks the ability to be a true sports/muscle car.

A: The 2010 Mustang ordering guides have recently (Nov. 19, 2008) been released to Ford dealers.
Brochures are not yet available to the public but Dealers are beginning to place their orders.
Production has not yet begun.
The new Mustang is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2009.

I was planning on buying a 09 accord coupe but now since I saw the new 2010 ford mustang GT that's going to come next year, I don't know if I should get the accord or wait to get the 2010 mustang! My only CONCERN about the mustang is the GAS!!
A: I bet an 09 Accord will be worth more than a 2010 mustang.
Once Ford makes a million of them, you will be able to buy them
pretty cheap. The Accord is a good value!

A: Wow. Um a new mustang gt starts at $25,000 and if you add all the extras you are looking at around $35,000. Now a porche is expensive. I think the cheapest is around 40,000 but its pointless and not worth it. The 911 is what you want and I think that is around 60,000-70,000 not too sure

What should i buy a hard top or convertible i don't like the convertible roof but maybe it will still look good in convertible with the top on

ok the 2010 ford mustang gt 4.6L runs to 140 mph and it has 315 hp but they're saying that they're saying they're going to replace the 4.6L to a 5.0L on the 2011 mustang gt with 400 hp and 400 torque and i want to know if the speed will be 140 or 150
A: the top speed will be limited @ 140 mph again or 155 mph because of safety standards and insurance purposes for Ford! it is capable of going a lot faster though!

A: Middle of the year. But I would hold out for the 2011 model with the new 5.0L DOHC, 6.2L SOHC, and EcoBoost twin turbo engines.

Q: Does the V6 2010 Ford Mustang have any cosmetic differences from the GT?
Is there any difference in appearance between the regular mustang and the GT?
A: YES, but they are minor.
The GT has fog lights in the grill, dual exhausts, and the silver badge on the trunk says GT, whereas on the V6 it is the mustang logo. The GT wheels are also 1 inch larger.
If you get the Pony Package on the V6, however, it will have the front fog lights and larger wheels.
The differences between the 2009 and 2010 Mustang are also minor on the exterior, but major on the interior. The 2010 has a MUCH nice interior.

I am just curious since ive seen several shifters. Which is the one I got if I purchased a '10 mustang GT premium (but not the premium seat accent I didnt like the line going down the seat) Is it this ball chrome looking one:
