Q: I can't afford my car payment....now what?
So I literally JUUUUST bought a brand new 2010 ford ranger. Payments were 400 a month but it didn't matter because I make about 2400 a month. Needless to say I put all my eggs in one basket, lost my job, and now I'm screwed. What should I do??? Do you think I could get someone to take over the payments? Can I take it back? What??? Also, a lady hit the truck backing out of a parking space and theres a smaaalll dent now.

A: If you're financing with Ford Credit, I would advise calling them and telling them the situation. They are likely to be more linient with you if you just tell them exactly what is happening. It is in their best interest that you keep the vehicle, because they don't want it either. Don't panic just yet, they will give you time to find new work. You could try and hand over the payments to someone else, but then you don't have a vehicle. That will only make it harder to find work. Sorry about your situation, that really sucks. Q: Help on a 1979 f250 ranger!!!?
Ok i have a 1979 f250 ranger everythig is original cruise control plastic interior ( no metal interior) No engine work has done to it, it has a 460 big block pumping 756 horsepower (tested on dyno) and i need help making a decision...... 1 should I sell it (need money bad but ive heard that this type of truck was rare) 2 keep it and rase it alittle with big tires for mud and add more horse power (for future fun LOL) 3 keep it try to restore it and see if its worth more in the future( but need money) or 4 keep it because its rare and has much power I beat a 2010 chevy!! on tugwar!!! (im not a ford fan i was just impressed on how strong this truck is!!!! Ive seen this types of trucks restored and worth more than $100.000 So that why i need help bad PLEASE ANYONE HELP!!!!

Q: Undecided about which car?
I'm finally going to junk my 1990 Ford Ranger with 230,000 miles. I inherited $15,000. I need something low on gas mileage because I drive to work 5 days a week a total of 60 miles round trip. I'm thinking of waiting until the dealerships are wanting to get rid of there 2010's and buy a Nissan Sentra for around $10,000-11,000 new. Also is that the best time to buy a new car in the Summer when they are wanting to make room for there newer cars? Is is that too late to buy one? Thanks

A: that sounds like a good plan.you should try to wait to the end of model year sales.you will get the best deal.such as the end of september or october,end of the week, or end of the day when they are about to close

Q: 2009 model end-of-year clearance?
I'm looking at buying a new 2009 Ford Ranger toward the end of the year. What I'd like to know is if one costs around $27k now, about what percentage of the price will be knocked off when they clear out the 09's to bring in the 2010 models? Thanks for the input! FYI a 2009 2 wheel drive Ranger goes for about 18k. A 2009 4x4 Ranger, which is what I am looking for, with all the options and the Fx4 off road package and 4 door extended cab ranges from 26-28k. A: it doesnt matter you can get one now.....do your research and ask for LIST PRICE.....cars are not exactly flying off the lots....dealers are pretty desperate...just be patient theyll call you back.....sales guys get fired if they dont make their quotas (monthly)
