A: your either not running the horn through the relay, or you have the relay wired wrong.get a schematic.you should get a 12 volt - a the wire. it just momentarily completes the ground side of the relay at the wheel.
Q: how much should i pay for a 67 mustang coupe?
My neighbor is selling a 67 ford mustang coupe for 10,500
He says it has a totally rebuilt engine, a new 900 dollar dual exhaust system, and headers. As far as i know it has the 289 V8 engine. It has a very nice interior and a pretty new paint job, although i have seen one or two little spots of rust.
Is it worth it?
A: I'd never give that kind of money for a hardtop, look for a fastback.. might need a little more work, but will be worth it in the end..
Q: Whats the biggest intake I can put on a 67 mustang stock hood with 390 motor?
I have a 67 Mustang with a 390 motor, and stock hood, and was wondering if someone could tell me whats the biggest intake I can put on it?
Thanks
A: Nothing radical will fit under the hood, just use a performer..from Edelbrock
Q: If I put disc brake on my 67 mustang will it change my bolt pattern?
I want to add disc brakes to my 67 mustang in the near future, but I am purchasing rims and tires now. I was wondering if the bolt pattern will change on a brake conversion kit?
A: Not if you purchase the kit with the stock bolt pattern.
Q: Can I put a 67 mustang fastback shell on a fox body frame?
If not, what would a 67 mustang body fit on best? Thanks.
A: Both cars are UNI-BODY construction so you can not interchange the frames BUT you can upgrade the 67 with COMPONENTS from the Fox Body. You could bolt the 5.0 which = 302 CI and use the front suspension and braking system. You could use the rear axle and trans also, it would take a bit to do but if you have a donor car you could swap a lot over, these kind of conversions are done all the time. Check with a Mustang restoration shop they have conversion kits for these.
Q: how easy is it to steal a 67 mustang?
i have a 67 mustang and live in la i was wondering if it would be a target of theft?
what can i also do to it to make it less likely to be stolen?
A: older cars are easier to steal, plus it doesn't help that u live in LA. that car is high risk. put a gps tracker in it. use a removable steering wheel. install a fuel pump switch, so nobody can driveoff with it. hire a guard 24/7.
Q: What kind of wheels/tires should I put on my 67 Mustang?
Mustang 67 coupe stock high (I need the rims and tires size)
Thanks
A: American racing outlaw II's look good on old mustangs. 15 or 16x7 with some 60 tires would be good.

Q: I want to ship a 67 Mustang from California to Virginia, how much do you know it will cost? or should i drive?
It's in okay running condotion, i'm not sure how many miles at this time. I'm in the military so if i do drive i have to request enough days off and i'm planning on doing this around the holidays. Christmas to be exact.
A: I have a 66 and its not the most comfortable car for long trips. Modern suspension and seat technology has spoiled most of us. If you are not used to uncomfortable rides that may be a deal breaker right there. But if you are a tank driver in the military you may find it very comfortable. They also dont have the best heat and defrosters and since you mentioned making that trip in the winter through at least some areas that may be cold and snowy that should be a factor to think about. After that you are left with a 40+ year old car that may or may not have any updates. Drum brakes can be an adventure in modern traffic, the list goes on. If you have a breakdown on the road parts may be hard to find. They are easy to get mail order but finding them in stock where you are is a whole different story. Unless you are looking for an adventure and have plenty of time to take what comes I would be looking at shipping.
Q: How much would it cost to put a sound system in a 67 mustang?
I'm buying one soon and I want to put a sound system in it. I just don't know how much I have to spend
A: try to find a unit that will drop in the original hole, you don't want to cut the dash up.. $400 minimum..
Q: The lights for the instruments on the dash arent working on my 67 mustang coupe?
The speedometer, oild pressure, fuel level gauge, ext. dont light up. they just stoped working all at once. i replaced the fuses but they still dont work. anyone know how to fix this?
A: The dash lighting gets its power from the taillight circuit and then there is a little sub fuse for the dash lights.
Do you have working taillights?
Is your rotary dash light dimmer all the way off? is it crusty and the lights flicker when you rotate it?
Look at these things first. if not, then E-mail me.
Q: How do the 66 and 67 mustang fastback grill look?
Like how are they different? Can you please post a link on pics?
Thanks
A: totally different as the cars are totally different. the 66 shares the 64 and 65 design the 67 shares the 68 design for the most part. check hemmings on the net for what you want to see.
Q: Would I have to cut the wheelwells of my 67 mustang fastback to fit 18" Saleen Rims?
Also, How difficult would it be to drop in a 32valve 4.6? Is there a kit for this swap? Electronic harnesses? Trans issues?
A: ask our group :)
Q: I'm looking to put in a petronix system in my 67 Mustang 200 6 cyl cp. How can I tell if I have a smog pump?
There are two differenet versions one for cars with a smog pump and one for those without. Anyone have pics as to where exactly a smog pump will be located
A: i dont recall any small ford six having an air pump for any year, except for the 1978-1983 fox body cars, even the california cars. however the air pump looks nothing like an alternator, power steering pump, or a/c compressor. it will have a hose coming out of the pump and going into the cylinder head or the exhaust manifold.
Q: What is the cheapest way to get horsepower gains for my 67 mustang 289 v8?
A: drop in a used Thunderbird 390 or from a station wagon...
