Q: New honda civic 2010 having starting problems?
so i dont know much about cars but my new automatic honda civic is working weird. When its really cold outside, especially early in the mornings and late at night, the car feels like it doesnt want to start. I put in the key and try to start the engine and it sounds like the car its forcing it...i dont know if thats normal or not on honda civics. i mean, besides that, the car runs great. the engine feels awesome, etc. its just the starting and like i said it happens when its really cold. like after the first time, i try it again and the car sounds normal...the starting goes well...so i dont know whats going on. i already took it to the shop they said that the car has nothing wrong at all..so what do you guys think it might be. you know how it takes like 1 or 2 seconds for the car to start? well when i first do in the morning it takes like 4 or 5..like the car is forcing it or pushing hard to start...but after that its fine...please let me know what you think, thanks

A: Honda started going back to using carburetors and that is a typical symptom for autos using carburetors.
Q: 2009 Honda Civic Sedan or 2010 Mazda 3?
I am trying to decide between the 2009 Honda Civic Sedan or 2010 Mazda 3 (both 5 speed manual) . The Honda is slightly better on gas but the Mazda 3 apparently drives better. Does anyone know which will handle the winter better?
A: The new Mazda 3 is ugly. The new Civic is ugly as well, but for every other reason, i'd chose the 3. I drive a 2008 Mazda 3, and the interior space is pretty damn good. The new three doesn't get any smaller. It handles like a dream, the new 3 looks like it has thinner tires so i'm not too sure about it's handling. I suggest you test drive both and figure it out yourself via experience.
Q: mazda 3 four door sedan 2010 or honda civic coupe?

Q: Better in snow: Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic?
I'm thinking about leasing a 2010 Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla but I'm worried about how they will do in winter. I live on a steep hill and the roads are poorly plowed, lots of ice, etc. Would these cars do OK? Which would be better?
A: No difference. Both front wheel drive and similar weights. In those conditions the driver may be the thing that determines how well it goes up a slippery hill.
Sounds like you really need a small 4 x 4
Q: Do the new 2010 mazda3's have as good of a resale value as the honda civic?
I think civic has best resale value period, but is mazda3 close?
A: I got the resale values for the basic models of the Mazda 3 and Honda Civic:
2009 Mazda MAZDA3 4-door i Sport Sedan:
Year Retained MSRP % Resale Value
New 100% $14,690.00
2 62% $9,107.80
3 53% $7,785.70
4 44% $6,463.60
5 37% $5,435.30
2009 Honda Civic 4-door DX Sedan:
Year Retained MSRP % Resale Value
New 100% $15,505.00
2 58% $8,992.90
3 51% $7,907.55
4 47% $7,287.35
5 43% $6,667.15
As you can see, the Mazda 3 loses $9,254.7 over five years.
The Honda Civic loses $8,837.85 over five years.
They'ree pretty much the same.
However, resale value shouldn't be the only aspect used in making a decision to buy a new car though
Here's cost of ownership over 5 years:
2009 Mazda 3:
Cost of Ownership Details
Depreciation $5,138
Financing Check Rates $2,470
Insurance Get an Auto Insurance Quote $6,925
State Fees $308
Fuel $9,335
Maintenance $1,372
Repairs $650
Gas Guzzler Tax TBD
Hybrid Tax Credit N/A
Total 5-year Ownership Cost $26,198
2009 Honda Civic:

Hybrid Tax Credit N/A

Clearly, the Honda is the better value.
If you'ree looking for a fun car though, I would stick with the Mazda.
Q: Do HID lights burn your cables in the Honda Civic coupe 2010?
A: No they don't
Q: 2010 Volkswagen Jetta vs Honda Civic?
I am deciding what to get as my first car, and my friend is getting a Honda Civic. However, I am thinking about a VW Jetta, a car that not everybody has. All answers accepted, but especially from owners of both cars. Besides stating yes or no, add detail, and those who do not own either vehicle, add links showing where you got the info. thnx!
A: jetta. it has free maitenance up to 30000 miles. consider the diesel-you can get a tax credit. reliability is comparable. civic has a history of being very reliable. the jetta is bulletproof if its an 05 or newer. drive both vehicles and you will see- the jetta is way more fun to drive
Q: does anyone know were i can buy a honda civic 2007-2010 in houston?
are the honda civiv type r accepted in america
A: Get out and look around.
H-town is the 2nd largest incorporated area behind J-ville, FL.
My brother bought an 08 Civic Si from the dealer he worked at.
Q: CHEAPER for car insurance, a Acura rsx 2006 or a Honda Civic coupe 2010?
im just trying to save up the extra money
A: Are you going to finance these? If so, the one that you borrowed the LEAST MONEY to buy is the "CHEAPER for car insurance".
It isn't down to car types when you are borrowing money, more like INSURING THE MONEY you are borrowing.
If you buy a LAMBORGHINI for cash and *only* get crash collision on it, the LAMBO will be "CHEAPER for car insurance" than the crappy Honda Civic coupe 2010 that you have had to BORROW MONEY to buy.
Get it?
Q: Is the Honda Civic a good first car for a new driver?
I am a 16 year old driver and I was looking at the 2 door 2010 or 2009 new Honda Civic. Is the car and insurance affordable? Is it a safe car? I'll take any information about it!
A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here - carquotes.fateback.com
Q: Should I get a 2010 Scion Tc or 2009 Honda Civic both are coupe models?
I'm going to be getting a new car soon and i'm wondering which car to get if i get the honda civic 2009 coupe i'll get it at the end of july when the 2010 models run in and i get a good price. However, I want style, and a smooth comfortable ride that will last me a long time. Which model is better price isn't really a problem. the civic is a little less then the scion but still nice. Any thoughts?
A: Tough decision. Ill say the TC..has a lot of good aftermarket upgrades and TRD (toyota racing development) is making a lot of quality products for that car...not to mention it is just a sober looking nice car.
Q: scion TC or Honda civic?
I plan on getting a car tomorrow however i don't know if I should get a 2010 Honda civic or a 2010 scion tc. Which is better quality and a better price. which also better for a 20 year old and also as far as insurance rate and prices goes. My moms say Honda I say scion . ..someone help me
A: Scion is no haggle pricing, meaning everybody pays sticker, so the price on the Civic should be lower.
As for quality, performance, etc. go test drive both.
