Q: Does anyone know how much it costs and what you have to do to put a Supercharger into a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon?
I have a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon and I want to put a supercharger in it. It's a 4 cylinder, 135hp. What would I have to do to my car and how much would it cost?
A: your first mistake is putting a supercharger in that car. Trust me you will be very dissapointed after it's installed, my buddy has one with the v6 engine and its supercharged. I kid you not, my 4.7 dodge ram 1500 will beat him from a roll and a dig. If you want to put a major upgrade on that car then put a turbo. I wouldn't recommend putting any type of mod like that on that car. It requires too much work to make those fast... I'm not trying to bash your car or anything, I'm just trying to help you out and hopefully let you save a few thousand dollars
Q: 2008 hyundai tiburon with a cracked bumper, how much will is cost to repair?
so0 this jerk-off hits my 2-day old car this morning and there is a crack on the left side of the bumper i would say about 7 inches long. anyone has an idea of how much it'll cost to fix it?
A: Here's the procedure:
The body mechanic will take out the old bumper, instead of repairing it.
He'll then order a new one which will cost at least $300. The new one will be placed in and painted (you'll have to pay for paint too). The cost mostly comes from the labor.
Total, I'd estimate in the high hundreds.
Q: can a 2008 hyundai tiburon GT do a burn out?
I know the 2008 Hyundai tiburon Gt is front drive but i was just Wonderin is a Automatic 2008 hyundai tiburon GT able to do a burn out when its new and in good condition
A: Under the right circumstance it could, normally no, since its an automatic dropping it into gear will destroy the transmission. I doubt the car has enough power to do a burnout, maybe if the tires are wet or on a dirt/gravel road or pushed up against something!_!
Q: Pros and Cons of the 2008 hyundai tiburon GS?
I would like some information about this car and some pros and cons of it.
Is this a good car to buy?
Ive heard in the past hyundai cars have been very bad but I heard they have been improved and are almost to Honda level is this true?
A: Pro's fun car to drive, high quality, built in South Korea, low cost of ownership, good resale value, great warranty when purchased new.
Con's Tiburon is old and was replaced by the Genesis coupe, lacks sports car power and some of Hyundai's latest safety features.
Hyundai has surpassed Honda in build quality and their technology is on par with the Japanese and often better when it comes to safety features. You should be able to find an 08 GS for around $12K.

Q: my 2008 hyundai tiburon has some scratches, how much would this cost to repair?
on one part of the hood it has a couple scratches, the whole hood isnt bad. and on the rear of the car, it has about one or 2 little scratches. no dents or anything. anyone know an estimate?
A: Take it to a body shop for an estimate. If they are surface scratches then it won't be that bad. If the scratches are deep in the paint or into the primer, then you'll need major paint work done, which is expensive
Q: 2008 Hyundai Tiburon 2.7L V6 short Ram intake?
or do you know any good websites to look for performance parts for my 2008 Hyundai Tiburon?
A: Piece of cake, I shop around these sites. I bought the Fujita F5 for my 05' Tib, and I love the sound! If you live in Canada you can get an AEM SRI through the dealers but they'll rip you off for it. Since you have drive the V6, get the CAI for more power gains.

i have been looking up cold air intakes and nothing has been showing for the 2008s could i use different year??? i have also been reading up on what brand to buy and been told that a intake is a intake nothing is really different with any of the brand but the price but it get a washable filter does any of that sounds right???
A: you could go to auto zone and buy parts and put it together to make it fit your car like it did for my mustang. and just put a washable filter on it. cost about 80 and works like any other one would for that car. i really think most intake company will rip you off if your buying it to close to $200. but thats what i would do

Q: how much to swap an auto transmission with a manual on a hyundai tiburon?
I would like to know how much to switch an automatic transmission with a manual one on a 2008 hyundai tiburon?
A: More than the car is worth.
Q: I bought a 2008 hyundai Tiburon GS. I am not that familiar with cars. What can I do to make it a lot faster?
A: Unfortunately there isn't a huge fan base, at least in aftermarket parts, for the Hyundai Tiburon or it's siblings the the Elantra and Kia Spectra so upgrading the vehicle will require some searching. Generally your best bang for your buck will be a super charger or turbo kit.( http://www.kia-fx.com/engine/turbokits.htm ) ( http://www.performancesi.com/2.0C4%20Supercharger.htm ) Nitro is also another option, but you can't use it all the time and one small mistake can blow your engine. I found one kit for a turbo and one for a supercharger online. Before going any further you should know that either of these options will seriously kill fuel economy while also requiring you use premium fuel, in addition the transmissions in these vehicles may or may not support the increased torque load which could cause premature failure. With those things considered I would recommend the super kit just because you get more power off the line and the unit is independently oiled from the engine improving reliability. On the down side adding an intercooler can be complicated should you choose to do so, high rpm power is less dramatic than a turbo, and it is less efficient than a turbo. Whatever you choose remember this, you can make something fast and reliable, but it won't be cheap, you can make something fast and cheap but it won't be reliable. Best of wishes.
Q: looking to buy a hyundai tiburon (2008) is it worth it?!?
im looking to buy a 2008 hydai tiburon, i just wanna know if its worth buying, how it is on gas and all that form other ppl who drive or have driven them! thankss :)
A: You don't say what size engine so I'll just answer for the V6, 2.7 L engine. Its a good engine, runs well, is fast for the size engine ( will take some V8 enging... not my saying and is public information). I get 24 to 30 MPG depending on how fast I am driving. I have about half of them miles on mine over 70 MPH, a lot at 80 MPH do not baby it and still does not use oil. With good tires it does well in snow, but remember it doesn't set very high off the ground so that can be a problem in snow. They are not a family car and does not have a smooth ride, but do set very conformable. If to do over I would buy the car again and by it performance I bought another Hyundai car and am very pleased with it also.
