Q: What grade of gas should I use on 2005 Porsche Cayenne S?
I was looking to buy a Porsche Cayenne S 2005 and I was wondering what grade of gasoline should I or have to use for it. Can I go using one type of gas for a while then switch? It has 57500 miles on it if you needed to know. I would really appreciate some answers to this, thanks.

A: Use whatever Porsche specifies for the engine. I am sure it is premium unleaded. Pretty much everything Porsche is high performance and their engines will need premium fuel for best performance. From a Car And Driver long term test of the 05 Cayenne: "Fuel economy was a concern for a vehicle this large. We averaged 16 mpg, splitting the EPA 14 city and 18 highway ratings. And the premium-fuel requirement pushed at least one fill-up to $100" There ya go.

Q: Can I use Diesel with a Porsche Cayenne S 2005?
Is diesel higher or lower then 91? Is it a smart idea to use it with a 2005 Porsche Cayenne S or should I just stick to premium? Can I mix gases like use 89 a bit then every once in a while go with 91?

A: You bet you can't. No, don't even think about putting diesel in it. Most cars can run a lower octane without any trouble but Porsches are finicky and repairs cost a fortune, I wouldn't risk it.

Q: How do I set up satellite radio on a 2005 Porsche Cayenne S?
This car has a SAT option on the dashboard. I have looked online but no one has an answer. Please can anyone reply quick. Thanks in advanced.

A: i would assume you could call any porsche dealer ship and they can get you set up or sent in the right derection. or you could probably call sirus or xm radio directly and they can get you set up

Q: Hey 2005 porsche cayenne?
hi, my parents are thinking about buying me a Porsche Cayenne and im only 17 years old, but im wondering what type should i get and i only can get either the 03,04, or 05. will people be amazed by a 17 year driving a porsche cayenne especially girls?..lol any good suggestions help!!!!! thanks.

A: the standard is perfectly fine to have, but the cayenne s is more sporty looking, and has a bigger engine so its funner. so id get that. also, look at the bmw x5 4.8 (pre 2007 model). that looks cooler and would be more fun, because the old x5 was much more sporty than the new one. dont listen to these other guys talking about how ur parents are making a mistake or making fun of u.

Q: What is the best aftermarket exhaust for a 2005 Porsche Cayenne V6. Under $500?
The exhaust needs to be loud

A: Just buy the cheapest system you can find...in about 3 months, when it starts cracking from fatigue, you'll get that loudness in spades.

Q: Insurance for Porsche Cayenne?
hi, im thinking about buying a 2005 Porsche Cayenne, and was wondering how much the insurance will be for such car?

A: One insurance web site surveyed the rates for nearly 300 different 2009 cars, for a 40 year old male driver with a good record, young guys can in some cases triple these estimates. The Cayenne came in at $1284 For reference, a Mercedes G class was $2088 the cheapest to insure car for 2009 was the Hyundai Santa Fe at $832

Q: WICH OF THESE CARS ARE GOOD?
PORSCHE CAYENNE S, 2004? LAMBORGINI GALLARDO 2009? PORSCHE CAYENNE TURBO, 2005 RANGEROVER SUPERCHARGE 2006 BMW 520I,2003 DODGE VIPER,2008 FERRARI F360,2004 LEXUS ES350,2008 OPINIOS! PLZ THX

A: good? As in fast:? Trouble free? Easy to maintain? The only car above that is practical is the Lexus in the real world until you have a team of mechanics and a lot of money at your disposal. All are nice cars, just not practical. You will end up with a high tech car in a low tech world. Try breaking down in a small town with a Ferrari and see how long it takes to get going again.
